Eles foram os primeiros a detectar vest\u00edgios e estudar os costumes e h\u00e1bitos das tartarugas marinhas. Para isso, visitaram muitas praias ao longo da costa brasileira. A preocupa\u00e7\u00e3o na preserva\u00e7\u00e3o j\u00e1 era iminente na d\u00e9cada de 1970, e fazia sentido, pois o desparecimento das esp\u00e9cies era not\u00f3rio. Ent\u00e3o, a pesquisa e a descoberta de \u00e1reas de desovas foram primordiais na pesquisa e, por conseguinte, o estabelecimento de m\u00e9todos eficazes nas a\u00e7\u00f5es a serem realizadas.\u00a0 Com isso, bases foram instaladas para pesquisa e conscientiza\u00e7\u00e3o de moradores e pescadores locais. As visitas s\u00e3o guiadas e duram em m\u00e9dia uma hora.<\/p><p>Curiosidade Projeto TAMAR em Florian\u00f3polis: O Projeto TAMAR \u00e9 uma iniciativa que deu t\u00e3o certo que n\u00e3o nos
